Family Reimbursement Fund

Rayim has a specially designed state contract to provide supports to families who care for a disabled individual in their home.

Supports include reimbursement for certain out of pocket expenses that are not covered by any other mean of coverage, such as a specialty doctor who does not accept Medicaid, camp funding etc.  By submitting a completed Family Support application along with an itemized receipt, it will enable Rayim's committee to review it and determine proper funding.  Consumers enrolled with other organizations or are in the process of becoming eligible for services, can benefit as well.

Basic information to know before applying:

• A receipt can be reimubursed through one agency only
• Family Support is disbursed per family (instead of per client)
• Family Support funding is offered once a year
• Rayim's Family Support panel reviews applications once in three months; it is conducted on a quarterly basis
